Our Homestay in Cajamarca, Peru
WHO WE ARE
We offer guests a truly remarkable off the grid homestay experience in the beautiful and historic town of Cajamarca where Atahualpa, the last of the Inca emperors was executed. You can enjoy staying as a guest of Vicky and her family, with the fantastic opportunities of sharing in family life, eating authentic cuisine, learning and practising Spanish and being guided as to how to live like a Cajamarquino and visit its favourite spots both on and off the tourist map.
This dead simple homestay is a S:/ 4 mototaxi ride to a residential neighborhood southeast of the center. It’s an interesting choice for long-stayers and families or those looking to be completely off the gringo grid.Ideal for families and backpacker.

WHERE WE ARE
Casa Mirita is only 10 minutes distance by taxi from the historic centre of Cajamarca. It is situated in a quiet residential setting with a few local shops and restaurants.
WHAT IT COSTS
bedroom with bathroom (double bed) S/: 75 per night per room
bedroom with bathroom shared (2 x single bed) S/: 70 per night per room
bedroom with bathroom shared (single bed) S/: 35 per night per bed (2 max)
Breakfast S/: 15 per day per person
Lunch S/: 15 per day per person
dinner S/: 15 per day per person
Full Board S/: 35 per day per person + cost of room
Long Stay guests can negotiate a reasonable package
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
We can also offer a unique camping/farming experience in the nearby historically significant village of Otuzsco. As well as camping you will have access to showers and services (not wifi} S/. 10 soles / person / night
